Rundown Support
Questions, bugs or ideas: email creative@alexandergoeke.com. I'm Alex, I make Rundown, and I read every message, usually within a day or two.
For a bug, tell me your device and its OS version, what you did, and what you expected. A screenshot helps.
Common questions
Does my data sync between iPhone, iPad and Mac? Yes, through your own iCloud. Sign in to the same Apple Account on each device and make sure iCloud is on for Rundown. Changes reach your other devices shortly after they come online.
If I delete the app, do I lose everything? No. Your data is also in your iCloud, so when you reinstall and open Rundown signed in to the same Apple Account, it comes back.
Why doesn't sync work? Check that you're signed in to iCloud, that your iCloud storage isn't full, and that iCloud is allowed for Rundown in settings. Settings inside Rundown shows the iCloud status.
Why is there no weather? The forecast comes from the US National Weather Service, so it only covers the US. It also needs you to allow approximate location. Sunrise and sunset work everywhere.
What's the difference between a spark and a task? A spark is a raw idea: no checkbox, no date. A task is something to do: it has a checkbox, can have a due date, and can belong to a project. Both live in Jot.
How do I change how it looks? Settings has light and dark, twelve colour palettes, three type styles and three card styles.
What does it cost? Rundown is free. There are no ads, no subscription and no in-app purchases.
