Collo

A RAW photo developer for Mac, iPad and iPhone.

Open a RAW file, set white balance and light, shape the color, remove what doesn't belong, and export. Built by a working real estate photographer to render with the camera profiles and looks you already own, and to keep every photo on your own devices.

It's for photographers who shoot RAW and want a straight develop pass, at the desk on a Mac or on the couch with an iPad, without signing in to anything. Coming to the App Store.

Your cameras

Collo opens RAW files from Lumix (RW2), Leica and drones (DNG), Fujifilm (RAF), Sony (ARW), Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Samsung and every other camera Apple's RAW engine supports, plus JPEG, HEIC, PNG and TIFF. Every RAW gets a built-in Apple Standard rendering, so you can start developing with nothing else installed.

Your profiles and looks

If you already own Lightroom camera profiles (DCP) and looks, or Capture One styles and ICC camera-native packs, Collo renders with them: on the Mac it reads them from your installed copies, and on iPad and iPhone you import the files. Collo ships none of those files; it uses what you have. Mark the looks you use most as favorites and they sync between your devices through iCloud.

Develop

White balance with presets, auto and an eyedropper. Light: exposure, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites and blacks. Presence: texture, clarity, dehaze, vibrance, saturation and black and white. Tone curve, color mixer, color grading, calibration, vignette and effects. Crop with aspect presets, straighten, Upright (auto, level, vertical or full), rotate and flip, and generative Expand to grow the canvas past the photo's edges.

Remove

Spot heal and clone brushes for the small stuff. AI Remove for the rest: an inpainting model that runs entirely on your device, so nothing is uploaded. If you have your own Bria API key, add it to use Bria's cloud model instead. That stays off unless you add a key.

Color Brush

Paint a color onto walls, floors or a color cast and only the color changes. Every pixel keeps its own brightness, so shading and detail stay as shot, and the new color follows the light. Pick the color from the photo with Option-click on the Mac or the eyedropper on iPad and iPhone. Similar colors keeps the paint off trim and windows.

Export

JPEG, HEIC or TIFF, with sizing, a quality or file-size limit, output sharpening, metadata options (including stripping location and people info) and custom file naming. On the Mac, Edit in Affinity hands a 16-bit TIFF straight to Affinity Photo.

Non-destructive

Your originals are never modified. Edits live in a small sidecar file next to the RAW on the Mac, and in Collo's own storage on iPad and iPhone.

Workflow

Filmstrip, before and after, split view, histogram, clipping warnings, an info overlay, and zoom to 100% or fit. Cull with star ratings, color labels and picks; they're saved in standard XMP sidecars, so Lightroom and Bridge see your stars and labels. Keyboard shortcuts on the Mac and on iPad with a keyboard. Apple Pencil pressure drives the brushes on iPad. Three interface themes: Quiet Pro, Glass Stage and Tactile, and on the Mac each comes in light and dark.

Private by default

No account. No analytics. No ads. No tracking. Photos never leave your device unless you add your own Bria key and pick Bria for Remove or Expand; the key lives in your device's Keychain. The one other thing that syncs is your favorites list, between your own devices, through your Apple account.
